Short Film Series

Ever since the rise of the Occupy Wall Street movement, a seemingly endless amount of Occupy related footage started to surface on the internet. One of the problems #OWS was having was with media outreach. The mainstream news was always beating Occupy to the punch. The average person simply didn’t have enough time to sleuth out information on the internet, especially when it was all raw footage, sometimes without context. It took a community of bloggers, podcasters and filmmakers to disseminate the information coming in from citizen journalists across the world to convey the situation for the mainstream. We took up the latter task and below is the ongoing short film series that resulted.
